I will not be available for about three weeks. Site should be up, Updats should work. But who knows, IT can be ugly at times :P CU

I just completed some pages by adding sort capabilities that I missed.
Previously all Highscore and Olymp pages (i.E. Fastest, All Summed and Speed Weekend) were statically sorted by track/vehicle and position. It is now possible to also sort these pages by positions or by racers names. With this new feature you can e.g. easily see how many #1's you currently hold and on which tracks :) To be honest, I just wanted to show you this: Speed Weekend Germany Olymp for All Vehicles on All Tracks :P If you wanted to pick a promising track to improve on Speed Weekend you probably used the Speed Player page and sorted by position.
Now you can also use the gap to the #1 on the track/vehicle combination, located on the same page. The best time is displayed too, so you know your goal :-) To make room for these two columns I removed the besttime and wins columns which noone knew what they really represented anyways. So I think they will not be missed. Good luck on improving! Please check if you use direct links to byethost beginning with http://joban123.byethost7.com
Unfortunately this reliable and fast hoster has disabled my site for too much active connections and wants me to purchase a hosting product. So, I switched the hoster once again. The recommended urls http://joban123.net.tc and http://joban123.weebly.com still work, but maybe you have used the direct links to the hoster. Then you have to change the url now. Some friends have started to rank up in Speed Weekend recently.
Of course my first question was: "What rank do they have now?" Ok, just a click away, but the second question was more difficult: "What have they done?" Now the answer is the new History link in the main view of the Speed Weekend page or the Speed Player page. Try it out! I added some style to the TA and Speed Weekend site.
So, if you see all green, don't worry, your monitor is not broken. Hope you like it. Lots of rain lead to a short power outage that killed my dsl modem. And that kicked the TA and Speed Weekend site offline. Thanks to a nice neighbor with lots of spare parts in his cellar I could replace it although it is sunday. Everything is back to normal now. Keep racing :)
Recently I have fulfilled whishes of the community like the Olymp or the split times in the all summed view if only one track and vehicle is selected.
This time I made my own whish come true. I always wanted to know the fastest racers for each track or for each track/vehicle combination. Since this is very similar to the Olymp views, this wasn't too hard to do. So here it is: Fastest Highscore for All Vehicles on Original Tracks All Summed Highscore for All Vehicles on All Tracks Speed Weekend Highscore for All Vehicles on All Tracks You can see the five fastest racers per category and you can sort by position instead of per track/vehicle, if you want to see all the number one racers side by side. To make room for the additional view link in the main frame header, I had to rename "Improvements" to something shorter. So now this view is called "History". Ok, now I'm going to kill some more of my ridiculous speed weekend times. Already improved from rank 3300 to 2600 - LOL. Hi lunatics,
I just realized, that it was exactly one year ago, when EVO announced the Speed Weekend on the EU playstation blog! So, one might think it would be a perfect time to announce the Speed Weekend Leaderboard, right? Well, not quite right: I will not only announce it, I will go live with it today! I'm really looking forward to see if this can revive the interrest in it. I, for one, will have to do some hard work to appear in a comfortable position. Right now I have only a hand full of races where I am in the TOP 1000! Not a single TOP 100! How embarrasing Hello S-4080! Maybe you could post some videos to help me out there? You are the undisputed Number One! Well, undisputed until now, we'll see For you approximately 600 racers that know my TA site: Thanks for using it. Your reward will be, that you will get used to the new lists in no time. Its the same site. Just two new buttons in the navigation frame. One displays the summed remaining times according to the selected vehicles and tracks and one shows the Speed Weekend related stats of the VIP racer you entered. Of course, you can click on the racer names in the summed remaining times list to see the stats page of that racer, too. And thats not all! If you had entered a VIP, then you can compare the selected players times with the VIP times by going to the Compare view , just like with the TA Player stats pages. In the raw data I use, there are some columns that I dont understand yet. I display them along with the remaining time, so you can speculate with me about their meaning (Best Time, Won and Laps). PLEASE COMMENT! Ok, thats about it. So in the good open source tradition "Release early, release often" Im now going to activate the new site features. Have fun! Hello again,
as promised deep down in some forum thread, the Olympics contributors list view (the Olymp) is ready now! Like before you can switch to the Fastest Olympics or All Summd Olympics. When you arrive there, the countries are now displayed with their full name and you can click on them. If you do, you get to the Olymp for that country: A list of all racers that have top times for the selected tracks and vehicles. In that view the Racers are also links. If you click on them, and you have selected a VIP before, you see the VIP times compared to the racers times. This way you can easily see how much you have to improve to enter the Olymp. About the "Qualified" column: For countries that do not have five racers on all selected combinations, you can see times that are not used (Qualified = no). This is, because on other combos there is no laptime for that position. Get someone to fill them in ;) I think, thats about it for the TA leaderboard! If you have any new ideas, let me know. I'll try to implement it (or tell you why I wont :P) going to the Speed Weekend... |
